Christine Pimlott

Christine Pimlott is a graduate of USC and holds her College Admissions Counseling Certification from UCLA.

Christine attends professional conferences regularly and visits campuses each year to keep abreast of the latest admissions trends and requirements with first-hand experience counseling STEM students, recruited athletes, and creative portfolios.

Christine has very relevant experience having visited many colleges across the United States. She has an understanding of the unique personality of each, including factors like student culture, regional characteristics, academic offerings, and educational philosophy. As she establishes a relationship with each student, she draws upon her experience to help the student verbalize the characteristics that appeal to them and that make up an appropriate college fit.

Christine's strengths and expertise are in developing a strategic college list, showcasing activities and extracurriculars on each student's resume, and assisting in developing compelling written work in essays and supplementals for each college. The writing piece is one of the most complex aspects of the application. Christine spends time brainstorming topics that will highlight a student’s best attributes and guide them through the editing, evaluation, and polishing stages. Because of her experience, she is familiar with the expectations and philosophies of each college as the students address the prompts.
